What we collect

• Account: name, college email, date of birth (to enforce 18+), college, optional department/year/gender/bio.
• Verification: your verification tier. Documents used for verification are checked and not kept longer than verification requires.
• Activity: listings, photos you upload, chats, meetups, deals, rentals, ratings, reports.

What we never do

• Sell your data or share it with advertisers.
• Share your phone number or email with other users. Chat stays inside the app.
• Profile or target anyone under 18 (we don't allow under-18 accounts at all).
• Store Aadhaar numbers or hold physical ID cards.

How data is used

To run the marketplace: showing your listings to your campus, delivering chats and notifications (including price-drop alerts you opt into by wishlisting), computing your trust score from ratings, and moderation. Chat logs and rental agreements are retained as evidence for dispute mediation.

Your rights (DPDP Act, 2023)

• Access and correction of your data via your profile settings.
• Deletion: contact the grievance officer to erase your account; records needed for open disputes are kept until resolution.
• Breach notification: affected users are informed without delay.
